The OABC has been was invited to participate in Tanfeedh sessions, which just recently completed six weeks of high-level labs designed to promote economic diversification and improve the business environment in Oman.

Many of our members participated in the entire six-week program, but to ensure that more of our members’ concerns and recommendations were heard, we reached out to the organizers to request that the OABC be more fully represented. We were pleased to be invited to participate in two ad hoc sessions, with companies focusing on the challenges to doing business in Oman and recommendations for improvement.

The companies that joined us for these sessions included Dover Middle East, GlassPoint Solar, Godrej-Kimji, McDonald’s and Raytheon. , and ourOABC Board Member and Co-Founder Emmee Haun also participated, sharing her recommendations based on assisting over 30 companies to register in Oman.

We plan to continue exploring ways we can support the future phases of Tanfeedh, and would encourage all of you to attend their public sessions at the convention center from November 20-22.
