Mr. Fouad Eid, Vice President of the OABC, is the Regional Vice President for ChampionX Middle East. He is responsible for the GCC, North Africa, and Turkey geographical markets.
He is a longtime member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and sits on planning and technical committees for SPE’s Artificial Lift conferences. Fouad also sits on planning and technical committees and is a founding member of the Middle East Artificial Lift Forum.
In 1995, Fouad graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.
From 1995-2010, Fouad held a variety of international roles at Schlumberger Oilfield Services, from operations to sales and marketing in the United States, Nigeria, South Africa, Guatemala, Mexico and Russia, overseeing projects in several additional countries globally.
As Recruiting and Training Manager for the Gulf region, Fouad was responsible for recruiting and developing GCC nationals into the company’s various segments. Later, he was also responsible for production operations in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and the Sultanate of Oman in his role as the Schlumberger Artificial Lift Manager.
He has attended various technical development and management courses at both Schlumberger and ChampionX Corporation.
