Premium members from the Oman American Business Centre (OABC) visited the new Muscat International Airport. The delegations were welcomed by the Bechtel-led consortium responsible for designing and building the new terminal and associated facilities. The 29-gate passenger terminal building, which features the latest state-of-the-art technology, will accommodate 12 million passengers annually. Oman’s plans for further expansion in three subsequent phases will boost the airport’s annual capacity to 24, 36, and 48 million passengers when the demand warrants.
