Heather Redling has 20 years of experience spanning across 3 continents. She started her career as an Animal Training intern at the Walt Disney World®️ Resort followed by 10 years with SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment®️. After 5 years in a wetsuit she traded it in for a business suit and focused her efforts in driving business and launching attractions for SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment’s entire US portfolio of theme parks and water parks. During this time, she also provided marketing consultancy to SeaWorld’s partner Loro Parque and Siam Park located in Tenerife, Spain.
In 2012, she moved to Dubai to join Atlantis, The Palm as the Marketing Director for attractions where she oversaw all brand, marketing and communication strategies and was responsible for launching the water park’s $27M expansion. 3 years later she took on the role of Head of Marketing at LEGOLAND®️ Dubai Resort, where she helped lead the opening of the Middle East’s first LEGOLAND park, while overseeing the resort’s Partnerships & Promotions, Digital & E-Commerce, Loyalty, Consumer Insights and Brand Marketing teams.
In addition to her industry experience, Heather has taught undergraduate courses in International Business and Cross Cultural Management at Columbia College (USA) and has been invited to speak at numerous industry conferences in the United Arab Emirates.
She relocated to Oman with her family at the start of 2020 where she was providing marketing strategy and project management to several businesses within the Badr Investment Group.
Heather has Bachelors of Science in Biology from The Pennsylvania State University and a MBA and MA in International Business from Webster University.
