Gary Schumann is the economic and commercial officer of the U.S. Embassy in Muscat. Previously, he served at U.S. Embassy Manama, Bahrain, in the State Department’s of Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, at U.S. Embassy Kuwait, and at U.S Embassy Paris.
Prior, he led international investment promotion efforts at Florida’s economic development and trade promotion organization, Enterprise Florida.
Gary completed undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware, and graduate studies at Columbia University. He is in Muscat with his wife and two children.
